Just bought a property here, my wife has an EU passport, I have a UK passport. Am I allowed to stay longer than 90 days on the back of her passport?

Yes you can as a family member.

You both must register your presence with the National Police within 90 days of arrival and prove the income and healthcare requirements, see contents of the link for more information.

Hello, yes you can but you must travel with your wife. Any days spent here without her will count towards the 90/180

Once the UK partner has his or her TIE card you do not have to travel together at all and you are not subject to the 90 day rule.

Really? If the UK partner gets a TIE card that would mean they become resident. They would then be subject to not leaving Spain for more than 10 months in the first 5.

Can they get a TIE card as the spouse of a EU citizen? I don't think they do.

I can assure you that what I said is correct.

That's correct.

Once the EU passport holder has registered as resident the UK passport holder can apply for residency on the back of their residency. Health insurance and proof of income are still required but the income requirement is a lot less when applying as an EU partner.

I don't think that the EU passport holder gets a TIE card though, I understood that they just need to register within 90 days.

Only if they are going to reside there. The question was travel for more than 90 days, not taking out permanent residency. You won't get a TIE unless you take up permanent residency.

I am married to an EU national

And when I registered I received a “family member of an EU national “ it looks similar to a TIE but it’s not !

It looks like this
