Explosions

We live just outside la canalosa and for some time have heard distant explosions. Anyone have any idea what they are?

If there are any fruit farms nearby, often bird "scarers". (depending on the type of explosions)

These sound like quite big explosions, not like bird scarers. Although maybe they are amplified by the hills.
There is a stone quarry in Algueña so it may well be blasting from there.

Yes, an estate agent showed us a property there and was trying to make out that it was a bonus to live so close to it!!
