Hi all

Alan and I arrive in Frailes on Sunday night for the next stage of our lives. Can anyone tell me who I should contact to have the swimming pool filled ? Somethings just have to be prioritised 😎

This has been covered several times on the forum. The bottom line is that if you have mains water then fill it with that.

If you search this site for "Swimming pools" under "Everywhere" and scroll down you will find a series of guides by Jim Taylor. When you find them, press "Save" and you will have them to hand whenever you need them.
As Pete says, you won't be using it through the winter so best to take this time to make sure everything is sound as leaks can be an expensive business usually only noticed when the water bill arrives!
I use our pool between end of May to end of September  as it's far too cold outside of these times for me. For the last few days we've had the central heating on for late evenings and early mornings so you may find heating the house more of a priority.
I wish you all the best in your new adventure and hope you enjoy your life in Spain as much as we do. The first few months can be a bit overwhelming what with all the bureaucracy but Frailes is a friendly little town with a lively ex-pat community so you should find plenty of people willing to help out if needed.
