Hi can anyone help me i am in the process of buying property in jacarilla can you tell me if there is public transport to a beach or supermarket
Hi Wendy, you may have worked out your bus links by the time I reply to this (Feb 2016) but in case this helps...I recently bought in Jacarilla and basically only use public transport to get around (and a pushbike). There are around 7 buses a day to Orihuela and the opp direction to the coast resort of Guardamar. Orihuela is a regional hub with a brand new bus station for connections around SE Spain. There is also a rail station with a range of routes.
The bus times can be found here;

some are term time, some are school holidays.

Bus stop is outside the chemist, both sides if the road. Train station is in Orihuela, 25 min by bus. Train station is next to the bus station in Orihiela with a great tapas across the road.
