Is anyone aware of anywhere that teaches photography or a photographer whose willing to share their expertise.
Purchased a Nikon camera and want to learn how to use it tomits best capacIty.

As an experienced photographer earlier this year I was looking for a Camera Club and thanks to someone on the Forum was pointed towards a Club in Torrevieja, joined in September, meets twice a month in La Siesta, varied and interesting programme and friendly with a wide range of experienced photographers. Check out the website at Torrevieja Digital Camera Club.( www.tdcc.es ). I don´t know if this helps, perhaps there is a Club closer to your location.

Theres lots of tutorials on Youtube.com for the Nikon cameras. Also tutorials about lighting and composing a shot.
I recently bought the Nikon D5300 spent a few weeks using it on automatic to get a feel for the camera. Now it’s on manual all the time.
