I am currently UK resident in hospital in UK nut I have startef thr procedd of emigrating to Spain

I am now not able, due to continuing health problems, to get my much beloved classic , V reg Lexus 400 back to uk and its not legal im spain due to having gone past MOT date. My LEXUS s now 22 years old and I am told it has not  got switchable headlights. Does anyone know  the process and costs of legalising the car in spain ? It has been checked safe by my local spanish mechanic but the car has no ITV and the MOT has expired. I love that car - I do want to keep it for when I move to spain permanently ..... classic car lovers will understand

Given your previous difficulties, it might be advisable to wait until you are fit to be discharged from hospital and complete the process of moving to Spain legally.

Hello

Good advice Relyat, if this gentleman ever moves back to Spain legally - the car is here so no point incurring expense to get it to UK..... also ,   considering his financial situation that he has mentioned often and  that he was unable to drive the car due to ongoing ill health.

Cheers
