Make sure you don't buy unless the plot comes with planning permission.

Hi is this because it is a wooden, it comes ready built. Or looking to rent long term.House det,garden,semi-rural edge or near a town.Finding it hard, so thought small plot for a wooden house Thank You. We used to live nearby in past, want to move back.Dont mind old houses.H

Not because it's wooden, but because it will be a habitable property. Even if you argue that a wooden house is temporary and doesn't need planning permission, the foundations will be permanent and so planning permission will be needed. In addition, utility providers won't connect you without a habitation certificate from the town hall.
