Hi there. We are buying our first Spanish property in Jalon. Where is the best place to find reasonably priced nice bedding, towels, soft furnishings etc. We don’t mind travelling  as we know there isn’t anywhere in Jalon!

We also need outdoor furniture, sun beds, table and chairs etc. In fact most things that make a house a home😊

Hello Lizzy,

Visit the shopping mall on the N332 at Ondara, called Portal de la Marina, it has a big selection of shops including a good kitchenware one called Casa. There is also Jysk there, (think mini IKEA) good for bedding, towels etc. Some other more upmarket soft furnishings shops too, inc Zara Home

Leroy Merlin have just opened on the site too, worth a visit - think Homebase/B&Q.

I haven't used them but have been recommended to Yorkshire Linen in Javea. Also in Javea you have the English company Michaels Beds who have new and second hand stores.

There is also a very good store in Ondara itself called Ondara Descans - indoor and outdoor furniture etc etc

Happy shopping! Steve

No problem. Forgot to mention there is a very large Carrefour supermarket in the shopping centre which also has quite a large household selection. Avoid Pineda for electrical as they tend to be more expensive than nearly anyone else. Euronics in Ondara (next to Mas Y Mas) are very good.

Ooh great. Hope they sell Nespresso coffee machines. That needs to be my first purchase 😂 where is best for nice outdoor furniture and sun loungers? Sorry about all the questions. Only got a few days to buy everything when we come out in March!

I think there's a Nespresso shop in the mall. Best for outside furniture is probably Leroy Merlin on the same site, you'll see it on the right as you pull onto the access road, you can't miss it as it's one way.
