As for BOJO getting such huge majority and still there it’s early days people who had voted labour all their lives got so scared of prospect of GC becoming the prime minister that they rather switched to what would make their previous generation to shake in their graves

But give BoJo the credit he sure knew how to spook those traditional labour voters who had become so tired of all that BS about Brexit 

He won and with big margins so time will tell whether people made the right choice

That's what really happened !

Those labour force from the Eastern Europe most particularly the Poles came to UK and made the building trade so competitive doing better quality work for as much as half what crook British builder would charge and did the same in other industries also 

They showed how honesty and hard work can result in more trust and hence why they were so successful in everything they did

So one can say their introduction into Britain was beneficial to the ordinary folks who had been ripped off by poor and lazy Money grabbing so called natives for many years before these workers came in and showed how they can do quality work for half the price

See this is what being in EU was suppose to mean but now the clock will turn back and those lazy greedy and rip off companies will start from where they left off

""See this is what being in EU was suppose to mean""  I never heard this !   Nobody ever said that being in the EU would be guaranteeing us better quality built houses and I did not hear any counterarguments from all those Irish Builders who form the bulk of the UK house building businesses.

My comment about see this is what being in EU means, was to emphasis the culture of getting best of other nations to arrive in UK

Namely hard work honesty and quality 

I used the building trade as an example as I used to work in this trade and had witnessed how the poles builders undercut the local native companies on price and produced quality work on time and on budget

My own friend engaged a local builder to add an extension to his house and had to cough up 35% more than the price quoted and wait almost two more month for work completion than was intended and had to call the builder back many times even after work was supposedly completed to sort out deficiencies 

You never experienced such outcome with a polish contractor 

I admit one bad apple does not represent all but my point was and still is to tell that no nation can live on their own any longer the world is now a small village and we all need each other for trade social benefits and pros

For many years I have worked in the building trade and can without a shadow of doubt state that the vast majority of the British tradesmen within the Industry experienced a lowering of standards within their profession from east European workers . Their willingness to work for lower pay and undercut traditional time served operatives is factual, and their Technical standards much lower than those in the UK produced, in many cases, much sub standard work. To say any different is living in Cookoo land !
