Good morning,
Could anyone recommend a really good vet in Javea please?
We have a house near Javea and are bringing our beloved pooch with us whilst we are out in next month. I would like to register him somewhere and be prepared!
Any other tips from dog owners on anything I should be aware of would be greatly received.

Hi, We use Animalets in Javea. English speaking and very good.

We use https://www.facebook.com/clinicaveterinariaarenal/ They speak English and are so helpful. We have the dogs registered there and on an EU passport which saves the vet forms in the UK.

Thank you. Would we be able to get an EU passport for him despite not being fully resident in Spain at the moment?

Yes, we are not resident. Our UK vet suggested it as it is perfectly legitimate and saved him the time and us the expense of the red tape caused by Brexit. You will find that the lady at Arunel vets, if you go there, will talk you through everything and be charming with it. Once done our pets are able to live in Spain even if we can not as yet :-)
