Hi

I have a holiday home near Benitachell that I rent in July and August and am looking for a good reasonably priced tax accountant that can file my quarterly and annual returns. Hopefully speaks a bit of English too 😀 any help appreciated

It is of-course possible to do them yourself (and I would always encourage that as opposed to paying accountants etc to do the work on your behalf even though I am one). If you asked for help completing it here, I'm sure you'd get it.

However, that's not everyone's cup of tea and others may prefer to avail themselves of professional firms for a fee:

Spanish tax forms seems to be regularly recommended (especially if property is jointly owned as IIRC they charge per property not per individual return):

I should add - but I ask that others confirm this as the quarterly tax return for non-residents who receive rental income does not apply to me - but I thought the law changed this year such that rental income could now be declared annually as opposed to quarterly?

Please someone shout if I am wrong so I'm not accused of spreading nonsense on the forum.

You're not wrong. From this year tax returns for renal income is now annual instead of quarterly.

Under the new regulation detailed in Orden HAC/56/2024, non-resident property owners in Spain are now required to report and pay taxes on rental income just once a year. This change aims to simplify the tax filing process and reduce the administrative burden for international property owners. The filing period for income earned in 2024 is set from January 1 to January 20, 2025, with an earlier deadline of January 15, 2025, for those opting for direct debit
