Hi we are staying in a villa in Javea in August and have decided not to hire a car. There are 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids) & we want to visit the aqua park for the day. Would like to know the best (& cheapest) way to get there and back.

Many thanks, Valerie

Which aqua park do you mean?

Hi Steve, I think it’s called Aqualandia (it’s about 45 mins away I believe), unless there’s anywhere closer?

Thanks

I know Aqualandia as I can see it from my kitchen window!!

From Javea you will need to get to Benidorm. Probably by tram then catch a no 11 bus from Benidorm which drops off at Aqualandia.

Sorry can't give any better advice but maybe someone else will :-)

Without a car you are going to spend a lot of your holiday travelling on public transport which is very limited. You're also going to spend a lot of time on foot in blistering heat. Temperatures up to 38 and potentially high humidity. Unless there is some prohibitive reason why you can't, I'd say hire a car and be done with it. Javea is a large area, depending where your villa is....

Might be too late as only got the costablancaforum today.  An hour’s drive to Benidorm... via the AP7 toll road....longer by bus.  Then taxi to Aqualandia.  Car is only option.  Join JaveaConnect and Javea Amigos as more info.
