Hi, can anyone tell me how long I can drive French reg vehicle in Spain as non Spanish resident. Is it restricted to 6 months? What sort of costs and documentation would be involved to exchange to Spanish reg? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I'll post details on here later today. There are a couple of details ye will need to know to save some money.... but I want to get it right so will ask Mon mari (French). We did it 1 year ago

There is no strict control on EU vehicles and their owners as log as they have no financial interest and do not register as residents.

ONLY IF YOU BECOME RESIDENT..... you have up to 2 years to change registration. Then you need a Fiche des Mines (certificate of EU conformity) which is available from the manufacturer or you have it already with your registration
