Hi. I hold an eye passport my husband a British I have read that he can travel with me to Spain with no restrictions as I hold an eu passport

Yes, if you are holding an EU passport your UK passport holding husband can travel with you without restriction. He will have his passport stamped on entry to the Schengen area but it will be of no concern while he is travelling with you. If he is travelling alone then he will need to observe the 90/180 day rule.
If you are staying longer than 90 days in any Schengen country then you will need to register, or leave for a minimum of 1 day. The rules haven't changed for EU citizens.
