Income after brexit

I know a lot is unknown about after brexit. My question is. Before I could retire in Spain after selling my house in the Uk.apply for residency and live off my Uk state pension with cash from the sale of my house as back up in the bank.
If the income required is to rise to over 20.000 euro a year to be resident, I will fall way short of this as will only have my Uk state pension.unless the money in the bank counts and proves I can support myself.?
Are my dreams of retirement in Spain now over ??
There must be a lot of people in my position.
Anyone help on this please ?
