Meeting people in Javea

My partner and I are intending to spend more time in his villa on Pinasol in Javea. We spent a few weeks there in November, testing out the wifi and whether it would support us working there. And it did. As we both work from home, why not make that home in Spain from time to time?
So we are coming again next Tuesday until the beginning of March. We also have plans to come for the whole month of May.
I am keen to get to know some people in the area, make some friends, find likeminded people who we can spend time with when we are over.
Can anyone recommend any expat groups which would be a good way for us to meet people? Or suggest good bars where we can strike up conversation with people? Or maybe you'd like to meet us and introduce us to your circle of friends.
We are Ingrid (50 this year) and Neil (57), both divorced and have been together for over 5 years. We enjoy music, eating good food, drinking good red wine, real ale and champagne, theatre, cinema, crosswords. Neil is also a runner, regularly runs 5k, and a keen cycler. I like pilates.
Any info you can give would be gratefully received.
