New to Javea - Looking to meet people and make new friends
Hello everyone,
I’m Louise, 41, from Scotland, and I arrived in Jávea a couple of days ago to stay for the summer - I work on cruise ships but sadly on extended leave due to Covid, so based on the recommendations of a friend I’m here for the summer and so far love the area!
Would love to meet and get to know people, make new friends and perhaps practice my Spanish properly - lots of practice on Duolingo but it’s nowhere near the same as speaking with people and using it in every day life ... which is what I’d love to be able to do! I’m really keen to get involved with the local way of life, rather than living like a tourist for the summer.
I did complete my TEFL course in Barcelona back in 2013 so even if there’s someone who’d like to meet up and exchange practicing Spanish / English over a coffee or glass of wine I’d be more than happy to do that.
I enjoy running, hiking, swimming, eating out, nice wine, nice whisky - in no particular order! I love traveling, music and animals ... and it would be lovely to meet some like minded people.
