Hello

I am just in the process of buying a house outside Javia and , as an ex landscape gardener, I cannot wait to get into a garden with new challenges in a different climate.

I have two questions; firstly does anybody know of a good wholesale or reasonably priced nursery (not garden centre) as the ones I have seen locally so far are really expensive. Secondly, I will need to transplant a couple of fruit trees and was wondering what the best time to do so in this climate is?

Any pointers and tips much appreciated!

Hello

You can plant outside the dry season, out of june to september. I had planted even in may, but with appropriate watering. The best time his in autonm/winter, but think there is tree with persitant leaves like Mango or Advocate, to plant in end of spring time.

About a place to buy fruit trees, many agricultors producing fruits change their production and plant new trees for their orchard, so they sell their previous fruits trees, generally to garden centers or.other places. I found abricot, Pomgranit, etc for a good price, and production the first years. Try to speak with some agricultors in your zone, they could direct you to sellers.

Hello,

Many thanks, but that is the one thing the garden does have!
