Hi

My husband and I are coming over in March 20th-24th to do a reckie in Javea. We’re then going on to Orihuela Costa to do the same for 4 days. Already been to Estapona which was nice but...!?! Would be lovely to have opportunity to meet someone that has made the move to discuss advantages & disadvantages of the area and help us through the process or general advice. We have booked a place in the port, we are in our mid 50’s.

Be lovely to hear from someone that could help guide us, appreciate any assistance and already great to have this is a forum to help

Kind regards

Gail

For answers to many of the queries that you will have can I suggest that you have a look at Jim’s Guides on this site.   The Citizens Advice Bureau Spain site may also be of help.   For anything to do with driving in Spain have a look at the N332 site which is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.

Thank you for this, we have Jim’s Guide and its a very useful information sheet covering many important factors.

We are so glad we joined this forum, so helpful and managed to already arrange to meet up with a lovely couple that moved out from England in 2018

But appreciate your response

Kind regards
