Hi, we are moving to javea soon - spending 4 months of the winter there. Please could someone recommend a gym that does good classes -? Les Mills too and also a warm swimming pool open all year.

Which beaches are sheltered and good in winter?

Are there any recommended shopping complexes near Javea?

Thanks!

If you are moving to Javea for  you may know that it is effectively in 3 parts, the old town, the port and the Arenal.

Would not recommend any of the beaches in winter, it’s too cold, although some hardy souls do surf in the Arenal beach.

No idea re gyms, sorry, but that kind of info easily sorted when you are here.

Nearest shopping mall as such is Portal de la Marina in outskirts Ondara, maybe half hour drive. Plenty supermarkets and all kinds of shops in all areas Javea.

Also be aware that, quite apart from any Brexit induced difficulties, in principle currently you can only spend 90 days here before being required to register as resident.

Thanks for helpful advice. We've been coming and going for 18 years - usually for about 6 weeks.
