Ragweed allergy

Hello everyone,
I am thinking of moving to Javea with my family and I am interested to know if ragweed grows in the area of Javea (or near by). I am allergic to this plant, it causes powerful and very unpleasant symptoms and I was wondering if there are people here who have experienced allergy symptoms to ragweed while in Javea. I've searched the internet but there is little information regarding ragweed growth or statistics in this area.
