Last minute christmas break advice with dog

Hi All,

We have decided to drive down to the Costa Blanca around the 18th December for two weeks to spend Xmas and New year in or around Javea pr Moraira. We are looking to rent a property can that take a well behaved dog and was wondering the best places to look? Also, we realise many bars and restaurants will be closed on Xmas day but will the towns come back to life soon after? Finally are there many bars that will allow us to bring our dog in with us or will it be warm enough to still eat/drink on a terrace?

Hi we have a 2 bed house Portico Mediterraneo Guardamar for rent we leave on the 18th December. It is still very warm from about 11am to 4pm but then it does start to get cold. You are correct a lot of bars restaurants are closed a lot stay open till about 5pm especially town beach but then there is only a few in the evening. If you are driving 10 min drive El Raso restaurants open in eve and Quadamar all open as lots British live there. Anyway hope this helps

Sorry you missed out on our licensed apartment in Jávea, those dates are booked to a family member of a neighbour, not normally available as we live there in winter. Javea does have dog friendly bars and restaurants, especially on the Arenal. Make sure you rent south facing and please only use a property that is licensed.

Ours is VT-446555-A for example.
