Hi Gordon, I live in the Arenal half of  the year. I cannot say that I have seen any new dive centres here...where was it supposed to be exactly and I will keep an eye out.  The half of the year that we are not here, April to October ish, we let our apartment home for holidays.  Ground floor with large patio and naya, secure parking too. Less than a minute from the beach on foot and only 5 seconds to get into the pool. Thanks for your reply, the thing i was looking for was Bob Diving it was due to open in May 2016 but when we were there in June the base was down but the spanish being spanish, it was a long way from completion. Bob Diving is like riding a scooter under water, Google it you will see. it looks fun. they should be to the left of the bay as your looking out to sea, near where they rent out the jet ski;s.

We do like the Jalon valley, Pego, Adsubia, Orba area as we ride motorcycles and spend most of our time in the mointains, Javea is good in the evenings I find. I will look at your appartment.Thank You.

Hi Gordon, so on the new walkway constructed by the canal. No finished building there with such a name on. In fact, we are in the midst of a Gota Fria and the JetSki building will have to be adjusted. Photo is of just a half hour ago. Me, not a motorcyclist, just love  the  mountain walks! :-)

yes thats the place.. looks windy there today. thanks for the fast reply. we like the mountains too, away from everything. another 6 years till i retire then i hope to live there full time.

Another year past, do you know if this ever got off the ground as I am back in Javea in a few weeks.

Well, we left just over a week ago. After suffering much damage this winter construction of new, permanent buildings on the repaired walkway was nearly completed. I expect the moorings on that section will be properly fixed again too, the jet ski pads and that were in situ. The rest of the canal was nearing completion too, the block paving was in, the planting areas were all being completed and tge last of the moorings were about to be attached. There is also a new footbridge under construction linking the two sides of the canal halfway along it. The whole job is fantastic! 

An update on our lovely poolside, ground floor, Arenal beach apartment home that we rent out in the summer: Our first guests have just gone home after a brilliant week, vowing to return.
