Introduction of hopeful future Javea residents -Any advice / tips please?

Hi everyone,
Me and my girlfriend are looking to move to Javea next year and all tips and help for living and working arrangements will be gratefully received.
We are hoping to meet up with possible future friends in January when we come to make some contacts regarding work possibilities.
If you have any tips at all that would be great, please be as positive as you can. Haha.
