Thinking of renting a villa in this area on a long term winter rental.

Is this a good area to rent during the winter period?

Been advised cold area, gets shaded by Montgó.

Worried abou heating bills.

Also, seems like a long walk to bars/restaurants.

Any advise would be very much appre

Be aware of the mountain , had a friend with property on Denia side of the mountain , used to lose the sun [ and heat ] for nearly 3 mths during the winter . He sold up and moved further down towards the town  ….!!

Not the same. Javea side is fresh, clear, bright and gets sun during the winter.

Yes, but it is still very cold at night and some kind of heating is usually required; pleasant during the day when the sun comes up and warms everything through, but you will need sweaters and coats!!

Thank you for that.

Is there any bars/coffee shops around this area?

Did see Anglia I think it was called and another, but wasn’t sure if these were just for eating.

It’s quite a walk down to Arsenal. Not so bad going down but uphill back 😣

Do you mean the Arenal? No ‘S’, not the UK football club grounds!!!!

Can’t comment exactly re bars as dont particularly know your area, but difficult to go far in Spain without falling into a bar!
