I live in Javea and have not received a form for my car tax. I was going to go to the Town Hall to pay it but because of the bad weather wondered if any other way I can pay or get a copy of the charge. Thanks

Yes, on here. You just need your car registration number where it says reference number.

Further to Penny74's post - I was in Javea in April but received no letter regarding car tax so emailed someone at the Ayuntamiento for details of the bill. I had no idea they had dispensed with paper notifications, and received no reply to my email. Now that I've seen the reply to Penny74's post I'm unable to get details of the bill because it's out of the voluntary payment period. I can't get out there very often and am at my wits' end to see what I can do. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

I shouldn't bother too much about it. Wait until you come over and call in at the local SUMA office to pay it. The fine for late payment of IVTM is 5% with a maximum of 20% if more than a year.
Assuming your tax is around 50 euro (a 1.6 SUV here is €42.60 a year) then the fine will be between €2.50 and €10.
While there, make a direct debit so it doesn't happen again.
