We are in the process of buying an Apartment in La Sella and wish to purchase some rattan furniture for the terrace. Can anyone recommend somewhere local. We are also looking to purchase a couple of large Yucca plants, where can you recommend I get these from?

Aki at Portel de la Marina have a good selection. They have some in shop or you can order from the catalog you can pick up in shop. Maybe you have found some already if not I hope this helps.

I bought my yukkas from Toscal Garden Centre , Javea and they delivered the large pots, compost and planted them up for me on the terrace.

We found AKI well stocked for most DIY but the rattan furniture whilst very nice, expensive. Have a look at the village of gate de gorgos where you'll see loads of rattan.

Yesterday we were looking for a dining table and found "Furniture Warehouse " on Las Olas, Javea which is near to Arenal. They had a good selection of rattan furniture. Also, if you're around that area, there's another shop well hidden, at the back of the underground arenal car park (in the block that has shangai at the front) and they had some very nice stuff.
