Hi Jan, we are going to Jesús-Pobre tomorrow from Benidorm and wanted to know if we can get there by train and then bus? I am not sure if the trains still run from Benidorm as I believe they were renewing the train line although that was a while ago. We want to take the train as close to Jesús-Pobre as we can and then bus as want to do the cheapest option. Can you advise with times. We hope to leave Benidorm about 12 noon ? Ruth

The train/tram ends at Calpe currently with a bus shuttle connection to Javea and Denia. There are buses from both Javea and Denia to Jesus Pobre but if you opt to do it this way be sure to check last return times.
When the tram line is reopened the nearest stop to Jesus Pobre will be La Xara.

Also to bear in mind that bus services outside cities are unlikely to be very frequent and this could end up taking longer than you may hope.
I believe the bus company Alsa has a route from Benidorm to Javea, leaving every two hours or so, takes about 1 1/2 hours.

I would think it highly unlikely from Jesus Pobre. There may be one from Javea bus station, consult the Alsa bus website. Sorry, I have no other information. There are very good taxi services bootable online.
