Hello

We bought a townhouse in La Finca and wanted to come over for Christmas can anyone advise us on things to do. Will it be busy, do we need to book for eating out etc. What days do the supermarkets shut for over the xmas period.

Any advise would be appreciated as this will be our first christmas in Spain.

Thanks

Dawn

Hi dawn - I also have a place on la finca and have spent a few xmas’ out here. Yes you do have to book for Xmas lunch and a lot of places do set prices which vary. The weather is normally is normally nice enough to go for lovely walks along the coast. Xmas day and New Year’s Day lots of people go to la zenia beach with picnics, which we are yet to do. Hopefully we will be coming back this year as well. I highly recommend it as it escapes the dreary English weather. Hope this helps x

Hi - one of our favourite restaurants is el prado in San Miguel. They do a set menu Christmas Day but unfortunately we were too late booking last year and they were full. Baybrooks at la finca is nice if you want something closer although probably a little more expensive. I haven’t used a taxi for a longtime but you could probably google a local one.
