House insurance

Hi all we need buildings and contents insurance for a 2bed top floor apartment about 70square metres.

We have been quoted 155 euros is this about right?

We did our building and contents just down the road from you at Jennifer Cunningham, (near Sunny Corner Bar) we went into the office so we could discuss exactly what we wanted covering, water leaks, fire, theft etc, it was €205 then after 2 months we got €60 cash back. I just like the fact that I can just call in the office and be understood.

It may be worth asking who insures your community. I was quoted €155 but paid €115 to the same company who insures the community. They gave me a discount because of this and I wasn’t paying for insurance that was already covered centrally.

Worth asking.
