We are moving to La Florida soon, just wondering my wife is a keen gardener
Myself a keen golfer, I know I will be happy with my lot, would there be any interest for garden hobby.

I too am a keen gardener so I bought an apt..... with a garden! I assume you have done that to enable you to familiarize yourselves with all the varied spanish plants & their needs & Spanish gardening in general, I had to learn what lives & what doesn't in these temperatures, in my south facing garden
Years ago I joined a gardening club that met twice a month, in my area. and had some great days out at gardens off the beaten track. I loved it but it closed down long ago as no one wanted to take on the responsibility for organisg every meeting/outing -- I have never found another club that I could get to, so home gardening & enjoying what I find on my walks has to do

Don't know what is "keen", but gardening yes. You are welcome to come and see the 2000m2 orchard and vegetable garden I started 5 years ago, all ecological, from a dead clay soil. Also we could exchange some seeds, trees or plants. For decorative purpose, I've got Ricin, Achantus and calendula. Now I'm try the tomate tree, decorative and comestible plant, suitable for place near the sea, always out of freeze in winter.

There is not gardening club to my knowledge, but we do have a brilliant, community
Civic Centre near to la Florida , en Alameda del Mar behind Super- Cor supermarket
Where there is different clases for hobbies. Like: painting, crafts, learning Spanish
Outings etc. So there is plenty to do and enjoying life here.
