Hi all,

Just bought a ground floor bungalow in la florida and it has an "open to the elements Galleria" at the back. Looking at having it glazed in with option for ventilation, ie part sliding roof anyone out there had it done, recommendations etc.

We also own a ground floor appartment in La Florida. Our galleria was glazed prior to us moving in, however we have seen many ideas regarding design. Most of which have little ir zero ventilation.

Our tranlucent roof was raised 10" or so & a row of sliding double glazed units fitted from top of rear wall tied in to roof sheets.

It makes a huge difference during somer months. We have fridge/freezer to one side & washing machine/tumble dryer the other.

Water heater is also mounted on wall out there.

Hth.
