We're new owners on MdM1 , and are trying to get our free wifi activated.
The oprevious owners kindly didnt disconnect the Router, but understandably , they didnt pass their passwortd on to us.
can anyone point us to whom we should contact on MdM1 to get the wifi up and running , plz ?

Hi Rob
Hopefully one of our members may be able to recommend you someone. In the meantime you could try the following:
On the router it should have the Wifi password on it. If the previous owners have changed the password there may be a button to reset the router to factory settings, and then you can use the original password written on it.

We have just bought on MDM1 and we're not aware of free WIFI can you advise?

The free WiFi was turned off at the end of October as it wasn't actually working.
If you visit the office by the pool on a Tuesday from 10.30am they can give you the details of the company who deal with MDM1 fibre optic connections at a reasonable price per month.

There is no free wi-fi here. I have been with Telecable Santa Pola for years. Good, reasonably priced service that very rarely fails. They have an office here on La Marina too, over on the roundabout by the Pharmacia and Swimming Pool along the road from the doctors surgery. Their website is www.tvcablesantapola.es and their email address is [email protected]. You will find them very helpful and when not in Spain you notify them a couple of weeks before you go and they will suspend your service for the time you are away. Just email them a week or so before your return and it will be switched on and working when you get back to Spain. Only costs around 7 euro when you are not here. We have fibre optic and it costs us 23.26 eur per month including 1000 mins national calls. Hope that helps
