No BBC Radio 4 from Telecable

I have used Telecable on La Marina urbanisation and if I have had any problems the technicians have come out quickly to put things right.

However I have lost my beloved BBC Radio 4 for several weeks now and when I phone Telecable they tell me there is nothing they can do as it is something to do with a satalite.

Has anyone else got this problem and how can I make Telecable pull their fingers out to give me back BBC radio4?

At the moment I can get BBC radio 4 on my phone through wifi connection but the sound is rather low but still not get BBC radio4 on my TV although I can get all the other BBC radio programmes.

There is a general announcement on my device everyday that BBC radio programmes will no longer be available on it from mid 2023. Programmes will only be avaiable via BBC Sounds. Maybe we will all be tied to our phones from now on! Good luck

BBC Radio stations are all available via the same satellites as BBC TV.

If you can get other BBC Radios then there is no reason why they cannot get R4. They are all on the same frequencies! R4 is not on a frequency on its own!

Sounds like they have not reconfigured their system for R4 when the BBC Radios changed frequencies as part of the BBC migration from SD to HD.

Get the App "My Tuner Free" on your smart TV. It's got just about every radio channel on the planet

Thanks everyone who replied. They are much appreciated. I am not very techno minded at all and just wish that my provider would get their fingers out and give me my beloved radio 4 again without my having to gen up on other methods to get it.
