I appreciate that this can change on a daily basis, but there is so much conflicting info presently. We have certificate of vaccinations and aware that we may need a tracking certificate 48 hrs before? We are just confused about what the Spanish require regarding any testing and if we need a tracking certificate.

Hi I would suggest that you keep checking on:
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain The information that you need to travel back to U.K. is also on there.

Proof of double vaccination and a passenger locator form completed online within 48 hours of travelling is what you need. Your Airline will have a link to the form.
