Passport renewal

Just told my passport renewal will take 6- 11 weeks.
Is there any fast track system like you can pay for in the uk? Thanks

Just got mine it took 8 weeks but the main issue can be the vagaries of the post. After applying you have to send old passport (if renewing) and that’s a bit of an imponderable.. but I don’t know of any quicker way. The communication throughout from the passport office was excellent!
Not much help I know but good look with it. If you were in the UK obviously there’s a quicker way

The uk passport office no longer sends them by post. They come via DHL.

That's true Stephanie, but sending your old passport back will usually be by post, and they won't process the application until they receive it. That can slow things down..but as I say the communication is very good..K
