Hi Nick, Janice and Anne,

Welcome to the forum!

My in-laws lived on La Marina urb. for over 15 years, so I know it quite well, and we have several very helpful members living there too, so if you need any help, just ask.

In the meantime, our resident guru, Jim Taylor, has done a whole range of guides about living in Spain, which you may find helpful to browse:

Jim's guides - your complete guide to Spain

Enjoy!

Best wishes,

Kim

I'd like to echo all the good wishes and welcome you to the forum and La Marina as well. As a relatively newbie to both the forum and La Marina I've found the advice here given by some forum members to be invaluable. La Marina is a great place, in my opinion. It has its critics (just like everywhere!).  If you make the effort to seek out a slightly more authentic Spanish experience you can find it. Please feel free to PM me if you've any questions. Best of luck! Regards, Colin.
