Hello and welcome to the forum.

If there’s one bit of advice I can give is take your time, do your research and once you’ve seen some properties during the daytime, go back on your own in the evening to see how noisy/quiet the area is.

Good luck with finding your new home.

Regards

Anne

Suggest you rent for a few months whilst looking for something to buy. This is the best advice you can have at this stage. Good luck.

I would also advise renting first otherwise you could waste many thousands of pounds if you get it wrong. Visit in high summer and winter to see the extremes and as you intend to make it a permanent home in the future, live like you live here rather than being on holiday.
There is no hurry despite what the estate agent might say such as prices increasing, someone else interested, whatever trick they are using to create a sense of urgency.
It is too easy to fall in love with a house but if it is surrounded by holiday homes which are empty for most of the year it will be very quiet, if it is close to a lovely little bar this could turn into a noise problem in the summer, being close to communal bins might be convenient but could also end up strewn with stinking rubbish in the summer. How much are the Community fees, non-resident tax and council tax (IBI, often referred to as Suma)? You will need heating in the winter.
Will you need to run the lottery of car hire every time you visit or would you prefer somewhere with better transport links?
You have put your location as La Marina, is this the old coastal town or the large urbanization the other side of the N332?

Unless you already know the area very well I would spend the next year visiting different areas at different times of the year before even looking at properties. Find an area that suits first, then find a property.

Make a tick box list and don't deviate from the most important things to you like where the sun sets, outside space and room for guests etc... We visited about 15 properties before we found "the one". There is no need to put yourself under pressure there will be one..
