Hi John and Jackie,

Do you like quizzes?  If so, pop along to the Cavernita bar (next to the Corner Post) in the Grey Area on Avenida Londres.  It's held weekly on a Monday afternoon, between 4pm and 6pm.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi John and Jackie,

I've just taken a look at your profile photo and realise that we've already met you both recently, at The Final Whistle on Monday afternoon - what a coincidence!  My husband was in the RAF.  Like Jackie, he comes from Yorkshire, but unlike Jackie, you'd never know it from his accent.  His parents lived on the urb for 18 years, before they passed away.  We were with our friends, Paul and Denise, who go to the Cavernita's quiz every Monday without fail.  We occasionally join them - my husband doesn't like quizzes, but he'll go for the beer and the company!

Kind regards,

Kim

We're on a small urb, Fincas de la Vega, in the countryside between Rojales and San Fulgencio, although we're actually part of Formentera del Segura; Paul and Denise are our neighbours.  My Paul and I occasionally go to the urb for dinner (we like The Grill House and Curry Mahal), but it's very rare for us to be there during the day.  On Monday, the boys had gone out in our car and Denise doesn't have a Spanish driving licence, so I took her up to the urb for a hairdresser appointment in their car - it certainly was a chance in a million!

Kind regards,

Kim
