Just want to let everyone know my Spanish neighbour has had all his paperwork stolen from his car in the night. If you leave your car parked on the road don’t leave your original papers in it. You can get copies but you will need to get them stamped.

I had heard this was happening in other areas but now it seems to be here on La Marina. Alan.

I have been and got copies of passport and driving licence today and went to the Notary that Geoff had recommended in Guadamar. The price for me and the wife came to 18.08e.Which I think is well worth paying. The Notary is on the main road opposite Santander bank. The office is on the 4th floor. The staff was really helpful and it took less than 10 minutes. Alan.

You go to the Notary and ask for "copias compulsadas".

I use one in Guardamar, just by the main townhall, and they do it while-you-wait.

See photo - the entrance to their office is on the left of this road, next to the white van.

Geoff.
