We are spending our first Christmas in our new home in La Marina Urb this year. We arrive on the 23rd and intend to cook a traditional meal at home. Where will we be able to buy a fresh turkey? If anywhere?

I would think Mercadona or Iceland stores. We have an Iceland just up the road and we buy a lovely Turkey Breast every Christmas to cook for dinner. Lovely!!
I've looked on the Google maps and there is an Iceland near you in La Marina.

Mercadona have fresh Turkeys at very good prices before and after Xma
A new English butcher's shop has recently opened on the urbanisation, and people are saying that it's very good.
For your peace of mind, might it be a good idea to contact him and place an advance order? I'm just thinking maybe that way, you'll be sure of getting, for example, the weight that you need?

We have used this butchers several times and found the produce very good.
Maybe you could preorder a turkey from them online?

The Iceland store here in Benidorm is reasonably priced except for the odd product. Some of their products are often below the local supermarket especially when they have sales on. Perhaps its because of the local competition that keeps the prices lower. Benidorm folk like a bargain and Iceland would go broke very quickly if the prices weren't right!!

Bell & Son.
They are near the top of Avenida Londres, on the same row of shops as Tio Pepé.
