We were in with Sabadell yesterday and found we had a non resident account that had a quarterly fee of 30 Euros and charges for all transactions. Additionally 30 Euros for each bank card. She changed ud over to the best non resident account which was also 30 Euros a quarter, but no charge for the...

We did go into Bankinter a couple of weeks ago and was advised they charge 15 Euros a quarter and no fee transactions. We will be changing over to them later this year at the start of our next winter break, in case anything goes wrong with the changeover of Direct Debits, so we can be here to sort.

Could you please tell me the name of the Sabadell bank account please.

Thanks

Ray.

That doesn't sound right. I use my account purely for Spanish bills and tolls. When I am there i put everything on my UK CC. The only other transaction's are me moving money from the UK to Spain. But I never move that much because the £ is so crap I move no more than £1500 per yr.

That deffo sounds like an error

Sorry Rower slow to reply for some reason have not received forum since Saturday. We have over the year sent a couple of amounts €2000 but when we opened the account we was told thier would be no charges as long as it was below €49000 per dad  which I’m afraid to say it has been. Thanks

Your charges are a mystery then. At least you haven’t got long to wait to find the answer. I’d be interested to know what they turn out to be.

Does anyone have an email address for Bankinter La Marina please?

I reside in Ireland and each time I transfer €200 from Ireland via online banking to my Bankinter account in La Marina I get charged approximately €20 fee by Bankinter!

I think this is extortionate especially as there is no currency change we are both in the Euro currency.

I've emailed a staff member but no reply she may be left as it's been several years since I've emailed them.
