NIE number

I need to get a NIE number to pay taxes and bills etc. Which is quickest way to get one and how much approx please
Are you in Spain or UK? If Spain then apply online to your nearest national police station or foreigners' office. If in UK then you apply at a Spanish consulate that deals with your area.
There are loads of posts on here about getting an NIE and the cost is around 12 euro (ish). Going through a gestor or company that does it for you may cost you about 50 euro or so but will be quicker than trying to get an appointment yourself.
Surprised that you need one to pay taxes and so on but haven't yet got one.

A previous post suggests that you are joint owners of a bungalow in Spain. To buy a property in Spain you need an NIE number. Are you sure you haven't already got one?

I live in the UK but visit the house for holidays I need it to pay nonresidents tax and local taxes . I Can pay other utility bills online .Thanks for your reply

If u already own a house , whether you holiday in it or not , you must already have an NIE number . U can’t buy a property without one

I don't own the property alone it's a shared ownership the original owners have now sold their shares to others .It's run as a non prophet making company registered with companies House in the UK
