I often buy stuff from Amazon Spain and this morning I got a strange SMS on my mobile telling me that I had a delivery which failed this morning so I  I must use the link in the message to pay €1.79 and re-schedule the delivery. As you are all probably already aware, there is no charge for goods within the EU community. Needless to say I did no such thing. Then the message miraculously vanished rom my SMS inbox.

Please be aware of this if buying online. I have notified Amazon fraud line of this.

I have also had messages which say the same. Always ignore them.

I do too but there are some who may be taken in by them and give them bank details.

The only way for an SMS to 'vanish' from a phone is if the phone has been hacked or has malware installed on it.

This amount comes up repeatedly, referring to different companies. Ignore them.

Yes irrestible, like the Dyson vacuum cleaner for 1.95€ which I fell for. And realise 10 mins. later that I had fallen for it. Change credit card number and cancel the old one.
