I am unhappy with the box vegafibre have given me for English tv. Channels often freeze or break up

What alternatives do I have?

Depends if it’s your internet connection (speed) or the tv system that’s the problem. It could even be a poor quality HDMI lead causing the problem

I presume that the tv box is wired directly into the router and you’ve contacted your provider to check they haven’t given you a faulty box and ping your speeds.

There are numerous other IPTV providers around - you’ll find many listed in the local papers and at the markets, but if it’s the internet speed that’s at fault then a different system won’t help.

If you’re not tech savvy then one way of checking is to take your box to a friend or neighbour and vice versa to see how they perform.

Alternatives would be a firestick with a VPN installed. A satellite dish (a 1.9m one to ensure getting the HD channels), another trip to VegaFibra to check your connections or find another supplier like DVBLab who charge a monthly fee with internet and TV included.

What download speed are you getting on your internet at the moment? Ookla is a good one to show your speed.
