Hi Guys,

Please be aware there is a good scam going round.

I have received 3 phone calls from “Microsoft” (Indian accent bad English/Spanish) stating I have been hacked turn on my Pc and enter the following. Me not stupid .....

I did an IP and Phone number search, each time, 1st originated in Sweden, 2nd Russia. On 3rd call I kept them online whilst searching got hit in Denmark said I would send police to caller address they immediately hung-up. 🤣🤣 further check found all calls were via VPN’s ie bogus.

Microsoft DO NOT CALL YOU so if you get call hang up straight away.

Unfortunately, these "microsoft" engineers have been calling us and other landlines for years. Now, I keep a very loud referee's whistle handy and blow it loudly down the phone at them. The last time one called and I did this & then hung up, he called me back to ask why I'd ended the call! Priceless.

Also beware Nigerian royalty who want to give you a $100 million dollars and all you have to do is pay a transfer fee

So this is happening Spain as well, filled out a report on line to BT as the numbers are meant to be registered as BT but the caller is using some kind of a loop and I have managed to trace one of the caller's to mumbai (Bombay for those of us who can remember) there is no doubt this is yet another scam they start talking as if they talking about advertising where in fact they are trying to get you to invest. If you can BLOCK.
