Is it legal for my friend to take me to the airport for the payment of petrol.

Thank you Ray. Yes he is ordinary motorist with comprehensive insurance. I have heard he expects a tip for doing airport run. I also heard from barstool advisor that airport monitor how many times a car enters.

'expecting a tip' is really no different to charging so could well be a breach of his insurance T&C's.

Car number plates are recorded when entering and leaving the 10 minute drop off area at Alicante (not sure about the pick up car park as I've never used it) so while it would seem technically possible for them to identify repeat visitors and sanction them I'd want a verifiable first hand instance of it happening before giving credence to bar stool stories I'm sure many of us have heard.

😲 OMG!

Are you serious?

I tell you what. Get a cab. Pay double. Then you will be all legal.

Good god. A bit of petrol and a drink to a mate. What the hell is wrong with you people.
