Buses October

Hi the beach bus unfortunately doesn’t run in October, it’s June to early September (sorry don’t know exact dates). 

Why are you scared to drive? Lot less traffic here than in the UK.

Thank you so much for your reply. I don’t suppose you know what a taxi would be from the urb near Lidl to the beach ? It’s for me, my mum and my sister as I think it’s too far to walk.  And any one you’d recommend as a taxi number ? Thanks Anne !

Sorry when I say scared I mean like getting stung by the car people and having to pay lots. Prices seem high too for a few days and can’t really justify the price  (only can come for 4 days) . X

Hi I’m afraid I don’t know as I don’t use taxis. I have a bike so go to the beach on that or if I’m feeling really energetic I walk there and back. Hopefully another forum member can answer your question.

Hi Poppy where exactly are you on the Urb? I’m asking so that I can give you information on where to catch the bus to Guardamar. 
Edit: just seen that you mention Lidl have a look at this link it gives you timetable from the bus stop by Lidl the stop is called San Fulgencio Cruce ( when getting back on bus from Guardamar or anywhere ask for this stop)

Thanks Anne for being so helpful . Yeah about a 20 min walk from Lidl , close to British Airways.

The timetable is really helpful but it appears the route to guardamar stops at the end of September . Thank you anyway , I may see if the cars go down in price at the end of the month when the travel buzz has stopped a bit ! 

Is there another stop then elsewhere on the urb with buses running in to October ? I know it quite well as have been a few times but have always had a car. 
I find it hard to believe there is no public transport past the end of September!
