Is there another stop then elsewhere on the urb with buses running in to October ? I know it quite well as have been a few times but have always had a car.
I find it hard to believe there is no public transport past the end of September!

Thanks again for your kindness Anne.

Have a great Sunday !

Hi Poppy I catch the Guardamar bus on Avenida Londres by Curry Mahal the bus comes on that side of the road, opposite the bus stop on the other side of the road. There’s not actually a bus stop but it does stop there. It’s nearly always late! The bus back from Guardamar leaves on time

Here’s latest time table bus definitely runs in October..

I know curry mahal ! That’s near the Italian and Pets in Spain charity shop right ?!

Great to know there is a 2.10pm bus that would be perfect for spending the afternoon in Guadamar and getting a coffee (maybe a swim if the weather allowed !)

I don’t suppose you know the time of the buses back ?

Anne , I can’t thank you enough ! :) x

Haha yes it’s the return journey from Guardamar 😊 Glad you know where the bus stop is, at least you can get there easily, the fare is €1.50 each way. Market day is Wednesday…Anne

Thank you so much for your advice . I think I may just get a taxi as my transfer from the airport  and then go to Guadamar one afternoon on the bus , maybe a Friday .

We are there Thursday night until Monday night so will miss the market but I believe the Lidl one is on on Saturdays . Really appreciate your help Anne! Thanks so much ! May even go to Elche too for a wander about.

Thanks again Anne xx

Yes the Saturday market by Lidl is good, not as big as normal but that’s due to Covid restrictions but still worth a visit. You sound to be sorted now and I’m sure you will all have a lovely time.

The word salidas is from the very 'salir' which means to exit, to get out, to leave.
