My dad was a coin collector for many many years...
He has now passed away, and i have loads of coins i dont know anything about..
Can anyway point me in the direction of how i would get these valued etc..TIA

Hi,
If we are talking about British coins there are several books that will give you an idea of the value, for example Coins of England and the United Kingdom 2020 or Coin Yearbook 2020 (there are many others as well).
The problem will be judging the condition of the coins – which can be subjective.
To have them valued can prove to be expensive and unless there are any coins of real merit and value probably not worth it. Again, as an example 1960s old pennies pretty much only have intrinsic value even in uncirculated condition.

Hi, Many thanks for your info...There are that many i wouldn't know where to start.
He also has loads of books on coins, probably listing everyone he has, there are alot of ancient coins..
They are all in seperate little coin envelopes..

Yes I still have them

I have no idea what value they have...I know nothing about them. There are coins there dated 300AD....
